New Years Resolutions

Do you have a resolution this year? Are you really going to stick with it? Having a resolution is a great idea to have. It is important that we set up goals for ourselves and make them. Now if you happen to not think of a goal until after the new year it is perfectly fine because we shouldn’t limit goal making to just on New Years. History of the Candy Cane

The candy can has always been a highlight of Christmas, but, do you actually know what it means? Well I’ll tell you. In India a Christian candy maker wanted to make something new but reminded people of our Lord and savior. Thus, the candy cane was born. Its shape can either be portrayed as a Shepard’s staff or a “j” for Jesus. Its white stand for the purity of out Lord, the think red stripes stand for the blood that cleanses our sins, the thin strips stand for the humility and whippings he took before the crucifixion. The green stripes are a reminder that Jesus made things new and that he was a gift from god.
