Camping: Coastal Trips

For camping along the California coast you can always find a terrific area that is highly affordable. Think of it, a spot right on the beach or just off of it that can lead you to a nice walk along the sandy dunes or a nature trail to the perfect section that catches your eye.

First there is Dillon’s Beach. This is a fabulous little site that offers quaint shops within a small town nearby. The beach holds a fantastic view and is not usually too crowded. If hiking is a key to planning your destination then Point Reyes is the most spectacular place for an awesome walk along the trail that is an incredible overlook! Fort Ross is great if you don’t mind the steep and winding cliff roads to get there. The spaces are cheap and the ocean is magnificent!
