Learning disabilities are sometimes a scary thing for parents to face. They can over react by thinking that the learning disability is a horrible curse and the child will never recover, they can make excuses for every bad thing the child ever does and blame it on the learning disability thus facilitating the child to grow up without taking responsibility and then there are those parents that accept the problem, work with the child and realize that it is not the end of the world.
